Why choose Long Eaton Roofers
We've been the trusted local roofers in Long Eaton since 2003. Over twenty years we've built our reputation on three things: doing honest work, giving straight answers, and standing behind what we fit. We don't have a sales team, we don't use pressure closing techniques, and we don't send subcontract labour. When you hire us, you get us.
Every job — from a slipped tile to a full commercial re-roof — starts with a free site visit and a written fixed-price quote. We never charge for quoting, regardless of complexity. We never inflate small repairs into big ones. And we never send surprise invoices once the job is under way.
Quality of materials
We work with established, reputable UK brands wherever possible: Marley, Redland and Sandtoft clay and concrete tiles; Welsh and Spanish T1 slate; Firestone, Classicbond and IKO flat roofing systems; Klober and Marley Eternit breathable membranes; Velux, Fakro and Keylite roof windows; code 4 and 5 milled lead to BS EN 12588. These aren't exotic choices — they're the brands with decades of UK performance data and reliable spare parts availability, so your roof is still maintainable in twenty years' time.
Guarantees, insurance and standards
Every major piece of work carries a 10-year workmanship guarantee in writing. On top of that, the materials we fit carry their own manufacturer warranties: 100 years on Welsh slate, 30–50 years on clay, 20–25 years on most flat-roof systems. We carry £1,000,000 public liability cover as standard (upgradable for specific commercial projects), £5,000,000 employers' liability, and work to the NFRC and British Standard codes of practice throughout. Certificates are available on request before any job starts.
Local knowledge matters
We're based in Long Eaton and we work in a tight radius — Long Eaton, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Ilkeston, Stapleford, Sandiacre, Sawley, Breaston, Draycott, Toton. That matters because we know the housing stock intimately. We know which streets have Welsh slate, which have concrete tile, which have bitumen felt underneath. We know which conservation areas need specific materials. We know which builders we can trust to leave a deck ready for our flat-roofing team. Twenty years of local work gives us a head start every time we climb a ladder.
