Full re-roof on our Victorian end-terrace in March. Team were on time every day, scaffold went up cleanly, and they finished a day ahead of quote. New ridge looks razor-sharp. Couldn't be happier.
Flashing around our chimney had been dripping into the bedroom for two winters. They came out, quoted a fair price, and fixed it in a day. No leaks since. Honest blokes.
Complete re-roof on our 1930s semi. Quoted three firms — these were the most thorough and middle of the road on price. Finished a day early and the new ridge looks fantastic.
Had our flat garage roof done in EPDM. Tidy job, fair price, came back to adjust a drip edge without fuss. Ten years' guarantee in writing — that's what sold me.
Had our stone cottage re-roofed with reclaimed Welsh slate. The matching is superb and the ridge detail is exactly right for a building of that age. Proper craftsmen.

Chimney rebuild after a bad storm. Matched the original bricks and pot. You'd never know it had been touched.
Rang at 7am after a tile came down in the February storms. They were here by 9am with a tarp, and back the following week for the proper repair at a very reasonable price.
Chimney re-pointing on our 1920s semi. Fair price, high-quality work, and the lead flashing is beautifully dressed. Exactly what we wanted.
Chimney rebuild after a bad winter. They took it down below the roofline and rebuilt it in salvaged matching bricks. You can't tell it's been touched. First-class job.
Two Velux windows in our loft conversion. Tidy, professional, and correctly flashed with the right kit for our tile profile. Highly recommend.
Full Victorian terrace re-roof. Slate re-use with reclaimed top-up, new dry ridge, first-class workmanship. Looks better than most of the street.
Full re-roof on our 1930s semi. Mid-range budget quote and they delivered at the top end of the spec. Clean site, finished early.
Concrete tile re-roof on our 1960s semi. Dry-ridge system, new guttering, cleared up impeccably. Genuinely pleasant team to have on site.
How we collect reviews
Every customer who has had a significant piece of work with us receives a follow-up call from the office two weeks after completion to check the finished work is performing as expected, and is then invited — never pressured — to leave a review on Google, Trustpilot, or CheckATrade. The reviews on this page are a selection from those public platforms, with the customer's permission to reproduce them here. Full original reviews remain visible on those third-party sites.
What to do if something goes wrong
In twenty years we've had a handful of genuine complaints, and we've resolved every one of them. If you've had work done by us and you're not happy, the first and best thing to do is ring us directly — we answer our own phones. Almost every issue we hear about is something that can be fixed with a return visit, and we'd rather hear about it than read about it on a review site. If a return visit doesn't resolve the problem, we work to the NFRC dispute resolution process. We've never needed to in two decades, but the option is there.
Verifiable and public
None of the reviews above is fabricated, edited or embellished. If you'd like to verify, all our public reviews are on Google, Trustpilot and CheckATrade under "Long Eaton Roofers". We'd encourage you to read them there — including the occasional three-star review — rather than relying on our curation here. A company with no critical reviews at all is usually a company hiding something.
Share your own
If you've had work done by us recently and haven't yet shared your experience, we'd genuinely appreciate a few minutes of your time. Google reviews in particular make an enormous difference to small local businesses like ours. Ring the office and we'll send you the direct link.
